Since today is Trigun Fanfiction Appreciation Week, I decided to do a little self-promo for my new fic, a VW Aristocats AU!

Inspired by this fanart done by @funshinebf. After greedy butler Conrad abandons Vash & his kits in the countryside so he can inherit Madame Saverem's vash fortune, they must find their way home with the help of one Nicholas D. Wolfwood.

Aristocats AU

Miles gets scolded by von Karma when they're back home but he brushes it off. All he cares about is that his kids are back home, safe.

They have a late dinner that night. The children ask if they can eat in their pajamas, and Miles says okay. If he's lucky, they'll all be exhausted from their long adventure, and he can get them all straight to bed with full tummies.

Miles is reminding them all of their manners when Phoenix comes downstairs. A maid brought him a change of clothes from Miles' closet. A light sweater and slacks. A starched collar peaking out.

Miles stops breathing and stares at him.

"Mr. Phoenix looks really nice, papa," Trucy says.

Phoenix blushes. But it's true. He looks very nice.

Gonna be real I don’t remember the last time I saw the aristocats so we are going on vibes with this one.

Price feels love at first sight. Seeing you, your gorgeous white fur, trying to herd around the cutest little troublemaking kittens. He can’t help but selfishly wonder if your mate is in the picture. And upon finding out your lost, far from home, in need of help?

Once again selfishly, he couldn’t conceive of a better opportunity to prove himself to you and your litter. And he genuinely likes the little rascals— all as beautiful as their mother. He teases you, too, imagining what a pretty little handful you must’ve been like as a kitten.

Your loyalty is something he admires about you, deeply. He can’t be upset when you gently let him down— wanting to be back at your Madame’s side.

When he hears that you need him? He comes running. He fights tooth and claw. Worse than that— he lets himself be collared by the end of it all. And he can’t deny that it feels overwhelming and beautiful to look in the mirror with you, matching gems gleaming around your necks as you nuzzle into his side. He’s not a young tom by any means… but he’s got it in him to give you another litter, at least.

ARISTOCATS AU W/ PRICE❗❗❗❗

AU where Sauron goes to Eonwe after the war and begs for pardon. Where Eonwe apologetically tells him that is something he cannot grant, and Sauron will need to go to Valinor. Where Sauron decides to Nope right out of there rather than face possible punishment for his actions. Where Sauron’s fear of the Valar is never overridden by his guilt to rebuild. Where even when his solitude grows too much for him, he is wholly unwilling to actually show his face in Eregion.

So.

A black cat with orange eyes slinks into Eregion in the middle of the night. No one sees it arrive, but it must be a furious hunter for the mice and the rats and the birds in Ost-in-Edhil all but vanish overnight.

The animals know he is not one of them. They flee before the flick of his tail, and the city is his.

It takes the elves some time to notice their visitor. The cat is strangely aloof and stalks along the tops of walls and the rooftops rather than roam the streets. It is never seen eating. Never seen sleeping. Never even seen grooming, despite how luxurious its coat remains. It is not merely quiet, but completely silent. It never truly interacts with the elves, and they are more than happy to ignore it until-

“Would you like to come in?”

The first words spoken to cat are soft, kind, and accompanied by an open door. The heat radiating out from the forge is warm and comfortable and familiar, yet the cat merely stares from its perch upon a roof’s edge across the street. The snow swirls between the two of them, grey in the moonlight, and it is not the cat who blinks first.

“I’ll leave the door open for you,” Celebrimbor offers, leaning down to set a brick against the heavy door, propping it open. He returns to his work, humming softly as he does so.

If he notices the cat slink inside the forge a few minutes later, he does not comment.

If he notices the cat watching him work over the next few weeks, he does not say anything.

If he notices the cat drift closer and closer as the days pass until he could almost reach out to touch it, he gives no indication.

Until falls asleep there, as he often does when he is too busy with his work to return home.

He awakens to find the cat staring at him, a massive ruby between its teeth which it promptly drops in front of him as if it were a dead mouse before fleeing out the door. The next time he accidentally slumbers within the forges, its gift for him is an equally large sapphire, the following the next by some beautiful white adamant stone. Celebrimbor is left rightfully confused, though he supposes if pigs can hunt truffles why can’t cats hunt for gemstones?

The nickname Celebrimbor gives the stray is well-earned. It is, after all, quite good at giving gifts.

I've taken note that a lot of the GF Fandom views Stanley as a 💫Girl Dad💫

I, for one, agree with this, and would like to pitch an idea:

Gravity Falls, but it's a Fiddlestan AND Aristocats inspired AU. Dipper and Mabel show up for the first summer before Weirdmageddon and meet their Grunkle Stan and Grunkle Fidds; Stan, being a Jersey native, is still gruff and pulls scams, but they're watered down slightly thanks to his Country Husband(TM).

Over the summer, Stan encourages the kids to be wild and true to themselves, no matter how weird. Fidds agrees, but also makes sure the duo are somewhat hospitable/respectful; i.e. Stan wouldn't mind the twins arguing, but Fidds tries hard to make sure they at least stay within reason (no name-calling, physical contact, cursing, etc.).

Cute little scenario:

The Twins: *Start Arguing, Getting Close to Physically Aggressive*

Fidds: Now, now, children. Take a deep breath and step back. Dipper, that's no way for a young gentleman to behave. And Mabel, a lovely young lady shouldn't use such language.

Stan: Unless you're defending someone's honor.

Fidds: Stanley!

Stan: Just teaching them that boundaries can be broken if needed, Honey Bunches. They might be polite, but it wouldn't hurt to know how to throw a good left hook. *Winks Slyly*

Fidds: *Exasperated but Fond Sigh*

Miles wants Trucy to be a little lady, and Trucy likes extra time with her papa.

When they're going from hotel to hotel on their way home, he brushes her hair every morning and pulls it back for her. Maybe once or twice on their journey, he washes it for her when she'd taking her bath.

But one morning Miles, exhausted, sleeps in late on accident. Phoenix gets the kids up and gets them breakfast without waking him.

When Miles finally wakes up, he finds Phoenix brushing Trucy's hair. She's telling him he needs to do it exactly like her papa does it. Phoenix is laughing and telling her of course. He'll try to get it right
